our mission
accelerate the development of lithium iron electric vehicles
A new lithium battery chemistry – lithium iron phosphate or LiFePO4 – has the disruptive power to transform the cars we drive on a scale not seen since Henry Ford's Model T in 1908.
This is not the same lithium chemistry used in the Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf, which is based on familiar laptop battery technology. Invented in the United States, lithium iron battery cells are now mostly made – no surprise – in China.
See our lithium electric 356 Speedster based on the classic 1957 Porsche 356A.
No car is more iconic than the 1965 AC Cobra, an esthetic masterpiece with exceptional performance. Originals have
become so expensive, they are now rarely driven museum exhibits.
To help nurture our American grass roots inventiveness, we developed a free web-based
manual that shows, step-by-step, how to assemble a replica of this
incredible machine in your own garage: an amazing period-correct roadster balanced with modern technology that outperforms
every mass market vehicle.
