Wiring connections<\/h2>\n

The Roadster wiring uses different connectors to make secure, vibration-resistant and environmentally robust circuits. <\/p>\n

Exterior lights use the WeatherPack connection system. Electrical ground connections must be carefully installed to insure continuous circuits. Dash wiring uses terminal blocks to connect various relays and gauges.<\/p>\n

A useful precaution is to apply a dab of contact adhesive\/sealant, like Automotive Goop<\/em>, over terminal block and ground connections. <\/p>\n

The sealant is clear and waterproof, and bonds to all surfaces. If necessary, the connection can still be removed and re-installed. <\/p>\n

The sealant protects moisture corrosion and also limits the impact of vibration.<\/p>\n
