Turbo S 5-spoke wheel<\/p><\/div>\n

Hundreds of different wheel patterns fit the New Beetle covering a range of sizes, typically 16- to 18-inch diameters, in both steel and aluminum alloy. The OEM wheels are generally no longer manufactured, but reconditioned ones are available. <\/p>\n

Our 2004 Turbo S model shipped with 5-spoke 7×17 alloys that remain in good enough condition to keep and refurbish. This silver wheel, part number 1C0 601 025 J 1E9, has a 57mm center bore and a 38mm offset with a 5 x 100mm lug pattern. <\/p>\n

Center cap with “VW” letters<\/p><\/div>\n

The original center cap with the “VW” letters, part number 1J0 601 171 BXF, is sold separately. Many aftermarket caps are available, the majority from China, but buyers have reported fitment problems. OEM caps are expensive at about $60 for a set of four which explains the high aftermarket attention.<\/p>\n

Caps fit different diameter wheels but the center bore, in our case 57mm, must correspond to the cap’s diameter. <\/p>\n
