What a fantastic effort by you guys, your posts have provided a raft of information to people like myself, information has been priceless in assisting the projects I have recently undertaken and now have a liitany of details to assist as time permits.
Projects include:
Improving a 1965 S type a driver at present
1959 mk1 full restoration, presently underway
1963 mk2 fullrestoration , disassembled on a rotisserie
Again thanks for sharing five star effort
The finished project is just beautiful!! Thanks so much for sharing the details of your restoration. I definitely review the different sections before I tackle the parts on my restoration. Your work will be treasured for years to come.
Many people are commenting how fantastic and wonderful your site is. My comment is slightly different. I read your articles when I remembered, and quite enjoyed them. Faint praise? Ah, but think of all the other people like me who have dipped into your site and enjoyed it over the years. Multiply my praise by all the silent majority who never post replies, and you will see you have added considerably to the stock of human happiness. I hope it remains published for many years, and it will assist me with my restoration of a 1958 Jensen.
Many congratulations on a job well done. I am struggling through the restoration of a 1965 Jaguar Mk2 (3.8 MOD) and am finding it very daunting. I overspent my budget some time ago mainly due to some particularly costly body repair work following acid dipping. I can undertake most mechanical and electrical tasks but not machining or welding. Your blog has given me both the confidence and enthusiasm to carry on to the bitter end. Once again, well done!
