Sold for $84,000 in a 2018 Osenat auction
The classic Jaguar Mk2 continues to appreciate in value, slowly catching up to the high valuations of its XK and E-type cousins.
In November 2018, a 1963 BRG/beige 3.8 sold for about $84,000 (74 400 euros) at an Osenat auction in France. Upgraded in 1990 with power windows, air conditioning, and power steering (the steering wheel was also replaced), this car has been lightly driven with about 32,000 miles and owned at some point by Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent.
